In Pursuit of Excellence
A Board of Directors, an Executive Team, or a Team of Leaders that aspires to excellence, needs to function like a human engine in a state of flow, managing and moving through challenges with a high degree of expertise and efficiency yet with entrepreneurial spirit and flair.

A business or organisational leadership team intent on aspiring to and maintaining excellence is like a sports team in the premier league. It has passion, it has a hunger for 'winning' and a thirst for learning. It is dedicated and self-disciplined.
It is a rare team.
So it demands unique attention and expertise.
This team consistently, and the emphasis is on 'consistently', experiments, learns and trains out of the spotlight.
It is satiated by success as defined by itself. While it is aware of its competitors and its critiques and benefits from knowledge of benchmarks, it competes with itself to be the best it can be.
In other words, it is in a league of its own.
